Your Role
As a Procurement Manager (SaaS), you are directly responsible for achieving software cost efficiency and having an impact on building a sustainably growing business.  You will join the CTO office and take over procurement, vendor management, negotiations and ownership of SaaS expenses.
As a part of the CTO office within the engineering department, you will be responsible for managing 100+ SaaS across FINN to that account for over 2m€ SaaS expenses per year.

Your Responsibilities

  • Actively partner with tool owners on the procurement process for new or renewing vendor relationships. Always be one step ahead on renewing contracts.
  • Create and lead the SaaS procurement strategy to reach cost efficiency and ensure FINN has the most favourable rates and terms.
  • Lead the negotiations on nearly all software vendor contracts.
  • Acquire a good understanding of each department to leverage insights and analysis into each vendor contract FINN enters.
  • Collaborate with the VPs and Heads of Engineering and Product to support strategic objectives and identify efficiency opportunities cross-functionally.
  • Help produce reports on performance and provide insights into monthly SaaS spending, savings secured, and potential savings.
  • Do it, do it, automate it: Simplify, automate and optimize processes that are currently carried out manually using no-code tools as Make or Retool.

Your Profile

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement and vendor management in a fast-paced, preferably start -up / scale-up environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to be assertive with vendors of different sizes.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with an analytical mindset and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • You take it personally when you don’t get the highest discount possible.
  • Fluency in English. German is a plus.
